These are the sort of games that breathe new life into the industry. I'd rather play this over killzone 2 - note just an opinion both are fantastic games.
it gets just as much playtime as my ps/360. If i'm feeling lazy I can lay back and just play on the ps/360 but if i'm in a hyperactive mood I can play on the wii. To me the wii is much more fun whilst the 360/ps3 are much more serious. I don't mind shooters but the point of games is to have fun and for me the wii is the best at that.
EDIT: @darkride - I think sidar's point was that the DS was similarly critisied for a lack of games and suddenly 2 years into its life the hardco...
It was equally as disappointing. So your shovelware affecting every good game excuse is just as applicable to the ps2 as the wii.
The market leader will always have the most shovelware but its up to companies to show the consumer the best games and with okami that definately did not happen not this gen or last gen.

Are you seriously suggesting Sony's figures are sold to consumers? No company gives sold to consumer numbers. They can't. How would they monitor every store around the world and see whos buying stuff? Its impossible. The best figures they can give is the ones they have sold to retailers and it is the sold to retialers figure they report becuase it is the retailers who pay them the money. remember in Australia where if you bought a HDTV they would give you a ps3 for free? If I go into my local phone shop I could walk out with a free wii/360/ps3 with my new phone.
Its amazing that MS can do nothing right to please people. I think a free 360 is a good gesture. Obviously not. Stupid Microsoft, burn in hell!
Germany is not that small a market. Its the 3rd biggest in Europe behind the UK and France.
As for German sales, Sony have just said here they have shipped 1 million consoles, compared to MS shipping around 900,000 according to GFK.

I was appaled by the lack of intellect or thought behind posts. Fanboys are everywhere (probably more sony now although I have been informed this was not always the case) and it really doesn't help build a community.
The bubble system is a great idea if it works properly however it doesn't always work in the way I suspect the sites creators intended.
I wonder if they have actually played twilight princess to see its brilliance. In no way is Zelda milked off its name, each game is truly fantastic.
I have never liked that franchise but I don't agree the rest (although I must admit I have only ever fleetingly played Beyond Good and Evil.)
IMO Zelda is the best and most consistant franchise of all time.
God of War shouldn't be there (although I think it is ever so slightly overrated).
Agree with Sonic though, to me it always has been a poor man's mario.

But then according to your logic every DS or PSP must get about 2/10 for graphics and be incapable of getting a good score no matter how good the game is. Graphics aren't everything.

why would there be a need for articles of glitches or floating characters anyway be it gears of war or killzone. Some people have far too much time on their hands.
Sony needed to save on costs and cutting BC achieved 2 things - a cheaper ps3 and a longer life of the profitable to sell ps2. WIN for sony. LOSE if you wanted to play ps2 games without having to have 2 consoles set up. I belive it was Jack Tretton who claimed a year before BC was removed that BC was actually a core part of the playstation model that gives the complete experience to players.
